AI Usage & Authorship Policy
Effective Date: 1st May 2025
Applies to: All submissions to Ausjournal
1. Use of AI Tools
Authors must disclose any use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Bard) for content generation, editing, summarizing, translation, or data visualization.
2. Disclosure Statement
Include a statement such as:
"Portions of this manuscript were assisted by [Tool Name]. All content has been reviewed and validated by the authors."
3. Authorship
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Only humans who contributed intellectually and ethically may be credited.
4. Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content, including AI-assisted sections.
5. Ethical Use
AI use must not result in:
- Plagiarism
- Fabricated data or citations
- Undisclosed assistance or misleading content
